VERTICAL URBANISM
Summer 2018

During the summer of 2018, I worked as a research & publication assistant for an architecture professor writing a book about vertical urbanism. The purpose of the book, which has not yet been published, is to encourage reasers to live in cities, where they can find all of their daily programmatic spaces and much more. For the book proposal, I created conceptual images of various functions and programs that one would typically associate with suburbs directly incorporated into high-rise settings. The first image is a residential high-rise that holds a playground for families to use. The second image is a high school in a high-rise. The third image is the concept of having a zoo featured in the central atrium of a high-rise building.
